Back to the good old UK, my first trip out after Iceland. Well Scotland to be precise, to good old Glen Coe.
The weather has been pretty horrid for most people, but my thoughts genuinely go out to those effected in Cumbria and Scotland, lets hope the government and agencies do the right thing by them and get them back to normality and safety as quick as possible.
I was able to witness some of the sheer strength and awe of mother nature while in Scotland, now its usually a wild place anyway in the highlands but watching the huge amount of water being dumped in the Lochs was something else after last nights rainfall. We cut our trip short just to be on the safe side. Loch Lomond was near breaking point on the roads and many others were shut off.
This image was taken under the shelter of a bridge that crosses the River Coupall, the small white building you can see is Lagangarbh Hut, which has belonged to the Scottish Mountaineering Club since 1946.
So basically I looked like a wet, cold troll under a bridge taking photographs
