Spot the Owl

In the Boesmanland, there are very few (to no) trees, nor an abundance of high perches. Owls have taken to nesting under bushes.

This pretty girl had two beautiful owlets tucked under her wings, so I did not venture too close and also took my pics with rapid (un)precision - ensuring the least amount of discomfort for the mom - in case she figured that abandoning her nest was an option... (Feeling guilt ridden and heartbroken is not my favourite emotions.)

Although grainy and drab - this is something few people will have the privilege to experience- see.
