The Ben Jones Bridge, Depoe Bay, OR. The Ben Jones Bridge, constructed on the Oregon Coast Highway in 1927, is one of the most beautifully sited bridges in the state. The bridge spans a small gorge in this picturesque section of the Oregon Coast. It is now bypassed and provides only local service along Otter Crest Loop Road. This structure was originally call the Rocky Creek Bridge but was named for the “Father of the Coast Highway”, Ben Jones. This span is 360 feet long with a 160 foot long reinforced concrete rib deck main arch.
