The photo was taken at Harvest Farm Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch. I'm fairly new to photography but tend to like to capture the odder subjects by finding their beauty where other people wouldn't.Time
In the late afternoon of a fall day, after my family and I finished a fun adventure through the corn maze, we walked by this rusty beauty.Lighting
The day was overcast and cool. Nothing to brag about in the way of lighting. Good thing the subject matter brought color to the canvas.Equipment

This was one of those photos that I wasn't expecting. As I turned the corner from the corn maze and headed down the path this mound of pumpkins came into sight. It just so happened that below the mound was this forgotten time piece.Editing
I only pulled the colors out a little bit more for this photo. It was already a great shot without editing.In my camera bag
As I said earlier, I'm new to photography. Actually, that may not be entirely true. I've loved taking pictures for years but have never invested in much equipment or software until recently. So, maybe I should clarify my previous statement and say that I'm new to the technology side of photography. I'm still learning my camera and refer back to my manual often for settings guide. I wish I could tell you that my camera bag is full of tons of gadgets but the truth is that I don't know what most of those extras do. This is one reason why I joined Viewbug, to help me grow into a more educated photographer and feel more comfortable with trying new shots by experimenting with the equipment I have. With every new photo I take a learn a little bit more about photography.Feedback
Take the time to wonder through a not so traveled road. You never know what may be just around that corn field.
