Pioneer Cabin is a forest service cabin built in the 1930's for ski touring. It is located in the Pioneer Mountains east of Ketchum, Idaho. This was my first hike to the cabin and I had no idea there was snow at the top at the time. However it was well worth the effort and all the post holing because it was an unbelievable view.
