Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Assam,India...

Time

It was about 7 o'clock in morning...mist gave nice composition..

Lighting

The whole forest was covered by mist...sun rays made a dramatic impact in this picture...specially those leaves made slight silhouette effect...

Equipment

I used mobile camera to take this picture...it was Micromax Bolt A069..

Inspiration

I was actually looking for a place to shoot rays rays then i found this place to shoot this type of photograph...this image is very special to me ...

Editing

I didn't used a large amount of post-processing...i just adjusted contrast and saturation..normally landscape photography needs some post-processing work where street photography need less...

In my camera bag

I actually use Nikon L830...a simple point and shoot camera with a tripod...i love to take landscape and macro photography...this camera helps a lot it these categories...

Feedback

Timing, patience and use of light are most important things to remember in the field of Landscape photography...don't lie upon the post-processing work, trust your eye...some time u have to use some filters(UV,ND)...but be patient.... "Buying a Nikon doesn’t make you a photographer. It makes you a Nikon owner..."..so trust your eye....
