Each year for the past few decades the man who owns this barn displayed a large lighted Christmas wreath. This year, because of terrorist attacks in France and the United States, he decided to display the American flag. His thought was to display the flag for the purpose of patriotism and peace. A question that came to my mind was -- which symbol is more about peace -- the flag or the Christmas wreath?
