The Arieiro Peak is the most photographed place of Madeira. It is always challenging to get new photos there. Although the weather conditions and light recorded in the photographs might be different, the main subjects are always very similar.
I've always been curious to take a picture to the Well of Snow. For those who is not familiarized with that structure, he is a unique stone well, similar to an igloo. That structure was built by an English family and in the past had served to store ice, snow and hail from the mountains.
I have been controlling the weather and light conditions for more than a week to carry out this photo. On this day the clouds could be higher ... and they were wonderful! I do not regret the amount of tire spent to get there at sunset time, which was superb and powerful!
For some time i did not feel any emotion at seeing my pictures, this made me reappear the motivation that had been falling.

Setup: Canon 550D | Canon 10-22mm f-3.5-4.5 USM | Lee Holder | Hitech SE 1.5 | NiSi SE 0.9
