This picture was taken at Lyme Park in DisleyTime
This was taken during the day when it was cloudyLighting
All natural lighting, with the help of those clouds that make it look more dramaticEquipment
I used a Panasonic GF1 micro 4/3 camera, kit lens, free hand and no flashInspiration
I just wanted to capture every place that I take my children, so they will have some memory of these wonderful National Trust parks to look back on, and maybe they will visit with their future children AKA my future grand kids!Editing
I just toned the highlights down to bring the clouds out a lot more, and also desaturate the entire photoIn my camera bag
Now I don't use the GF1 anymore, I've upgraded to full frame so definitely won't be going back to micro 4/3. At the moment I shoot with the Canon 6D, and I got to say it is one of the best cameras out there. I usually carry the 50mm 1.4 with me, but I use the 24-70mm 2.8 the most... It is one of my favourite lensesFeedback
Just think outside the box, and try to take pictures of a particular subject from a different angle
