'twasn't quite the night before Christmas, but it was at night and the stockings were hung by the chimney with care. The only thing I wish was different - outside of it not being the night before Christmas and there was no St. Nick - is that we had a real wood-burning fireplace. Oh well, it is still cozy and a great place to curl up with a nice hot drink - or one on the rocks ;-) - and a good book.
