Shot with a Canon 6D at Prime Focus in a 102mm refractor telescope - f-7 @714mm. The Image was created by stacking 1.6 Hours of data from exposures of 15 seconds up to 2 minutes long, and processed in Pixinsight Software.
Orion Nebula is a Diffuse Nebula in the Constellation Orion and situated within our Milky Way, we can see it with our eyes on dark nights with little to no light pollution. It is located around 1300-1500 light years from earth, and has a in diameter of 24 light years across.
