This photo was taken in the morning. I was at the computer when I saw this beauty through my french doors eating Sunflower seeds. The first Rufous Sided Towhee I had seen in quite awhile. I snuck out onto the snow covered deck in my bare feet and managed to get this photo before he spotted me and flew off.Lighting
I haven't really attempted any artificial or staged lighting for any of my photos. The lighting you see was natural light.Equipment
I used my trusty little Canon SX 700. I balanced it on one of the logs protruding from our cabin to keep it steady.Inspiration
