The University College Main Building at No 15 King's College Circle on the University Of Toronto campus. Constructed in 1853, the building was severely damaged by a fire that gutted the entire eastern wing and the college library in 1890. More than 33,000 books were destroyed in the college library but within two years, the library was replenished through donations. University College was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1968.
