For miles around, the Devils Tower appears as a monolithic pillar ascending hundreds of feet into the sky. Native tribes each had their own stories of how it came to be - typically involving a bear chasing seven sisters. Modern science and geologists have found evidence that this column was once the magmatic core of a larger volcano which has since cooled and eroded away. It's certainly a beautiful sight to behold - one which will leave you wondering about the energy, power and forces that led to it's creation.
