THE SPLENDORS OF AUTUMN 2015-CNY-12.7.2015-PHOTOS BY BZJr!

So it was a Tuesday Afternoon in December and I had just gotten home from running errands...and it wasn't the warmest outside, but it wasn't raining so I decided to rake 5 - 39 Gallon Bags of leaves. Every year I bag 93 - 39 Gallon Bags of Leaves in Autumn, and this year I have only bagged 60 so far, so I needed to make a hour to fill 5 bags today to make a dent in remaining fallen leaves. While I was raking I happened to hear a bird and I looked up and saw how Majestic my Maple Tree was in the front yard and how strong it looked, and as I turned my head I saw a couple of rays of sun on one of my ornamental grasses that was literally right in front of me...! I just stopped for a moment and soaked up all this simple beauty that was right above & in front of me.
It is always amazing how much beauty is all around and we just don't take the time to notice due to the fact that we all are often so busy...
My recommendation is take some time to pause and look at what is beautiful near you and be in the moment.
