For a city of 4.2 million people, Sydney still boasts several spectacularly secluded locations to escape from the crowds. Looking down from Barrenjoey Head, you could be forgiven for mistaking Palm Beach as a tropical island in the Pacific, mesmerised by the myriad of colours in the water as sunlight and sand mix to form turquoise nirvana.
