Behind The Lens

Location

It is taken at the La Concepción Botanical Garden in Malaga, Spain

Time

About 3:00 p.m.

Lighting

Yes, it was cloudy and I used flash light bounced on a white umbrella

Equipment

CANON EOS 50D - Tamron AF90mm 2.8 DiMacro- f/9 - 1/160" - ISO200 - Flash Canon 430 EXII+ white umbrella + YN622

Inspiration

Macro photography always offers worlds within other worlds. A drop of water can offer curious reflections that are very beautiful

Editing

Revealed with lightroom and a bit of focus mask in Phosotshop

In my camera bag

Today Canon EOS 6D and Sigma 50mm f1,4, Canon 17-40 USM F4L, Canon 70-200 F4L, Tamron AF90mm 2.8 DiMacro, filters and other thing, . I do not always carry everything, it depends on the type of photography I'm going to do

Feedback

Macro photography requires a lot of patience and a lot of skill. I advise not to hurry and do many tests, because a poorly positioned focus can ruin a photograph that at first seemed good. Another tip is always to place diffusers of light between the light source (either the sun or the flah) and the subject, since the hard light and the high contrasts are an enemy of the photographer. Always
