Went out at 6:am to capture this shot. The area is suffering of 5 weeks without rain, so the falls were at a trickle. This spot gave me the feeling

Backyard adventures in butterfly and moth hunting

The reflection was just there and it took me by surprise when I saw it in this wall of glass.

On the other side of this bridge are 2 50 floor condo buildings. That is how foggy this day was

Location

This photo was taken in Vancouver, BC at a conservation area.

Time

This was taking midday, and it was a very sunny day. I was waiting for my son and thought I'd look for places to shoot where the sun wasn't so direct.

Lighting

Being in a family of film technicians, I could envision this path being lit so beautifully. I was really just looking for a place to capture a few shots out of the bright midday sun.

Equipment

Sadly my DSLR got dropped partially through this trip and was not functioning well. I was using my daughter's Coolpix.

Inspiration

I was actually working on taking photos that day of following lines and this is one of them.

Editing

Not at all.

In my camera bag

I have an older model Sony A580 that I love.

Feedback

Although daylight conditions were so bright. Nature has a way of letting in the light in interesting ways any time of day. This photo was taking in a Conservation Park and has many trails to explore. I am always looking for Canopies created my nature.
