When I was just 12, a rancher from our church asked my dad if I could spend the day with their son and the crew as they did a roundup...they taught me all kinds of stuff, roping, western saddle riding, dipping, branding, and teamwork. It's been etched in my mind like yesterday....the dust, screeching whistles, the yelling, turning out yearlings, the quarter horse maneuvers...you know what I mean.
I'm so far from that even though I live in the middle of cattle country...Being camera engineer for a network....I so admire what you present here Patricia...it's simply breathtaking!!
