I'm a little embarrassed that this is from my iPhone and not my Canon 6D. I prefer the Canon.
I think I was reading a book by Scott Kelby and it said something about lying down on the ground to take photos. So, while on a conference in Washington, DC, I thought - I'll do that! It wasn't too crowded at the monument - which I was surprised about. So this photo happened. I was happy that I got the "stream" of light at the top and the little cloud at the bottom to add a bit of dimension to the image (I still haven't learned any Photoshop - so what you see is what I got).
