Location
This photo was taken at Billy Dunlop Park one of my favorite places to shoot family photos. We were reaching the end of our photo session and I was packing my equipment away. The father was raising his son in the air a few times and when I saw that, I picked up my camera and got this shot. Even though you can't see the fathers face, you know there's a big smile there.Time
This image was taken around 5:00 pm at the end of October 2014. The weather was just perfect a little chilly but not to cold.Lighting
This was a natural light photo, the sun was going down. There was still nice lighting at the time. I could see the soft lighting over the babies face. It just a perfect moment.Equipment
This was taken with the Nikon 5300 hand held, Lens: Nikon 55 to 300 DX. Natural Light. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I just saw the right moment between a father and son nearing the end of our photo session that day.Editing
For this photo I did very light editing in Lightroom 6. I usally do very clean edits for most of my photos. In my camera bag
As of now, I use the Nikon D5300 along with my favorite lenses. These lens are the Nikon 55 to 300 dx zoom, 35mm, and my truly favorite lens the 85mm. The 85mm gives you this really soft beautiful bokeh. Extra batteries.Feedback
Keep your camera around your neck. Just because a session is over, doesn't mean its over. I was only able to capture this photo because I still had my camera out.
