Location
It was a walk in the Johnston canyon, Jasper national park and we came back to have dinner. All of a sudden as if to help me taking the photo, this magnificent bird appeared and constantly posing! Never thought that I could take a humming bird's photo! Amazing experience.Time
It was dusk and we were tired after a whole day's trek in the Johnston canyon! We were hungry and about to step into the restaurant! what a luck! just outside of the restaurant and amazing opportunity to click! I used 1/3000 still that was not enough to freeze the motion! Still thankful to this little amazing creature! Just forgot how hungry we were! Our appetite was already full!Lighting
High ISO is preferableEquipment
It was Nikon D810, lense was 105...it was extremely difficult shot because its wings were too fast to capture. Still very happy.Inspiration
It was always my dream to click a humming bird as this is one of the unique species in the world; probably the fastest wings flapping capability. I am blessed!Editing
After taking the photo, I processed it via Lightroom to make sure that the grains are going away. It was also a fun because this is a new experience for me as well.In my camera bag

For similar situation I would suggest to use 1/5000 in the very first place, get a bit more ISO, say 400 and make sure that hands are tightly stuck to the body to make minimum camera shake. And Lightroom is a must which will help to clear any part which you dont like, say cropping.
