Of Monumental Design

This is a closer picture to showcase the detail in the building. I am very fond of the architectural design of the older buildings. Unless you look up, many will miss the beauty of these magnificent buildings. It seems it is an art that at some point will fade away. All the new buildings are just straight up and boxed shaped. It is like cannot see the forest because of the trees type of saying, however, when you see buildings of these designs...there is a signature of the artists that designed it...the artists that molded each detail up to the beading of the building. Such building should be preserved...I hope to see these types of designs return to buildings. Seeing the box shaped, straight up and 12 across like a jigsaw puzzle...there's no design in doing a box...
