Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was shot at slievegullion fairy trail. They have loads of these miniature figurines in the trees.

Time

It was around mid day.

Lighting

This shot was very hard to light as the natural light was almost completely blocked by the trees so we had to use a very small led light just out of frame.

Equipment

Canon 6D and a 50mm USM lens

Inspiration

I was messing around with the idea of macro photography at the time.

Editing

Slight bit of post processing to boost the colours as i shoot flat and then bring them back in with the raw files data.

In my camera bag

Canon 6d, 50mm 300mm

Feedback

Anything small that looks insignificant at first, take a closer look. There is a lot of magic in the miniature world out there. Most people you see try to take photos the biggest event, name, city. Try thinking smaller and you will be welcomed to a whole new world of possibilities.
