Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in our backyard a few days after we brought our new little girl home! We fell in love with her and we just knew we had to add her to our family!

Time

It was later in the day based on what I can recall. I just love taking my camera out when we are just hanging out in the back yard and getting all those spur of the moment shots. I honestly think they are the best kind because you really capture that emotion that is true and not forced in any way.

Lighting

Nothing special about the lighting it was all natural from the sun!

Equipment

I took this was my Nikon D80 and the factory lens that came with the kit! This one has now been retired now but it was an amazing first camera!

Inspiration

It was just a candid shot nothing truly special behind what it took to create!

Editing

I did a few adjustments but nothing major. It was one of those pictures that just turned out just the way I like it!

In my camera bag

Back then it was just my D80 with its factory kit lens that it came with along with a 50mm. What is in my bag now... -D750 - Nikon 24-120mm - Tokina 16-28 - Tamron 70-200 - BlackRapid Sling - Extra SD cards - Mac Book Pro

Feedback

As I have said before with this shot there is noting special about the set up. This was a good old candid shot! This is why I always have my camera with me, even just going to the grocery store some times because you never know what you might see. When you are out with your family grilling out, playing with your kids or your dogs outside I would always recommend keeping that camera close, you never know when you wanna save that special moment!
