The Burning Eye

I had been going out early in the Summer, 4:30am, to try and get some sunrise shots. Being the UK was thwarted most mornings. This morning I had moved to a position I had noticed couple of mornings earlier to get the sun rise sky through the eye. Amazingly I was greeted with a very orange sky. I used my telephoto for composing as London has 000's of tower cranes that spoil skyscape shots, but what makes this picture was the one cloud streak not in line with the others. I saw the exact shot coming that I wanted, with it in line with the eyes centre, almost like a gun going off. I was really pleased with the final resulting picture.
