Grace Episcopal Was built in 1873, though it sets on the foundation of an earlier church that was used as a make shift hospital during the Civil War. This is one of two churches in which I sought to capture the moon light behind the steeple's cross. The moon seems to burn through the clouds and simulating what appears to be a halo behind the cross. I think the other church was a little more successful, but I thought I would post this one anyway. It is not often that you see the star of David combined with the Christian symbol. But then again, why not? The brick work is exquisite. So much so, that I would like to shoot pictures of the church details during the daytime.
