Location
This photo was taken early one morning at Bundi train station in Rajasthan, India. I was on a small group (12) adventure holiday around Rajasthan.Time
Around 7 am.Lighting
Just foggy conditions. Quite bright.Equipment
Canon 5D Mark 11. Lens 24-105 mm L series f4.Inspiration
Bundi train station was quiet but there was thick fog. No trains were running. We had to wait for the fog to clear for a couple of hours. I am never put off by delays and find these great opportunities to take photos. On this occasion, cows were walking on the railway tracks trying to find food. It was pretty cold first thing so a local covered in a blanket to keep warm sat on the platform. A stray dog also wandered past. It was just a fleeting moment, but I’m glad I hung around with my camera waiting for the opportunity to arrive.Editing
A bit of tidying up on the tracks and platform. Use cloning tool in elements. In my camera bag
I have a canon full frame camera. These days a canon 5D Mark 1V. Lenses will vary from 24-105 mm, 17-70 mm, 100 -400 mm , all canon L series lenses. Sometimes I carry a 50 mm prime canon lens. I use samyang for Astro photography and a sigma 105 mm lens for macro. Depending on what I’m doing, I’ll have a tripod (gitzo), quick release cable and various filters.Feedback
Look for opportunities, hang around and something will turn up to surprise you.
