Location
Up on a hilltop during my walk.Time
Late afternoon on a Sunday in November. The Sun was just about to set.Lighting
I was standing in the clear while the sun was setting behind a thick fog curtain. The fog kept moving as if it were alive and let the sun to be seen for a few seconds here and there. It was too dark to take any other picture but was perfect for the sun to be photoed.Equipment
Sony HX400V Carl Zeiss lensInspiration
I went for a walk in a hope to take photos but to my great disappointment thick fog settled into the valley and was approaching the hilltop. The lighting could not be worse. I almost gave it up and turned home - but then started to play with my camera instead. I never took photos in fog before and thought this was a good opportunity to learn. When I saw the sun breaking through the fog I become very excited. This is one of the photos born from my excitement :)Editing

Never give up. There is no too bad circumstances. Something nice can come out of enything. Once you have your camera at hand: use it. The result might sursprise you one day.
