Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was initially taken at an amazing park called goldstream on Vancouver island, Canada. And the women in the photo was my partner. We often go there for the salmon run.

Time

It was a misty afternoon as the steam was coming off the trees, due to being rainforest climate.

Lighting

Lighting is always magical here. Surrounded by mountains the sun has limited exposure

Equipment

I usually just take the shot handheld. I used a canon 5d mk2.

Inspiration

I'm always looking to create something different from an image. And in this case 2 images

Editing

I used a well known software to meld to photos together and to change hue, saturation and warm for a winter feel

In my camera bag

I mainly look for wildlife so I have a sigma 600m, canon 5dmk2, a canon m5 with a 17mm a tripod and and a nd filter

Feedback

Just play and have fun with it. Experiment
