Location
This photo was taken down on dungeness beach in Kent.Time
It was taken at sunset my favourite time of day !!Lighting
The sun has just set behind the house in the distance creating the perfect light conditions and silhouettes I needed for my shotEquipment
I used my canon 5d mkiii with 24-105 kit lens. I used no tripod or flash.Inspiration
Dungeness is one my favourite places to visit along the south coast of the uk and any time I am that way I make an effort to go there and see what I can capture. It is a very interesting landscape with a lot of derelict old wooden fishing boats as seen in this photoEditing
The only post processing I done was adjust the shadows on iPhoto to make the silhouette deeperIn my camera bag
In my bag I always have my canon 5dmkiii with my 24-105 kit lens. I allways carry a reflector when shooting portrait along with my tripod and 2 flash guns.Feedback
I would advise people to keep trying and have a play with there camera settings until you create the vision of the photo you have in your head. Look at other people’s work and think about how you can recreate an image to your style
