Location
In front parking lot of condo building where I live in Virginia. It was Fall in October of the year before with fall colored leaves piled up in parking spaces by the cars. I chose a place where I could take a photo of one of the leaf piles. This particular on was taken with my Apple Iphone. After I took it there is an Adobe Fix It app which allows for changing the original image by finger painting--warp, swirl, twirl. I most likely did some of all three perhaps mostly swirl. Finally I sent it off for a Gallery wrap.Time
time of day most likely was mid morning after residents had left some free spaces by leaving for work. This left space in the morning to find a good pile of leaves, not so many that on could lay down and roll around in them and before the grounds people came to blow the leaves away.Lighting
Light would have been Fall October Light, and not direct, just enough to make the color popEquipment
For this I used my Apple Iphone most likely the 7plus hand-held. Sometimes I do use a tripod. For the camera apps I use now I don't need to add in Lenses, just using only the one built into the Apple Iphone.Inspiration
With the Fall October time of year in Virginia, I am on the search for October colors. Some are right in front of me and nearby. I do like trips to the Shenandoah Mountains, especially along Skyline drive, although, this one happened to be right at home.Editing
The post - processing on my Apply Iphone is usually with one of my Iphone effects apps. In this instance it was one of Adobe's apps.In my camera bag
There are days and travel where I like to travel light rather than a heavy bag and tripod. Most times I have my Apple Iphone with me so it is ready to use.Feedback
One doesn't need to travel to far locations to get eye popping photos. While I have a bucket list of places I wish to go, some of the best opportunities are right in front of me where I live--back yard, front year, still-life of nature objects that you pick up and bring in your house for a still-life arrangement. Sometimes, mother nature makes the perfect arrangement for you.
