Vietnam Memorial, Washington DC 58,000 soldiers are listed on the monument wall. A filled in diamond at the beginning of the name signifies the person was killed. A hollow diamond signifies the person is still considered "Missing in Action"
This monument is one of the most revered and visited in Washington DC. When I took this picture the couple was standing next to me looking for a name on the wall. What I personally love about this photo besides the composition is if you look at the woman's hands it looks as if she is holding the name "Leonardo"
