I took this photo "Peaceful Evening" during a fishing venture in Southeast Alaska. It was near twilight and had just stopped snowing. You could hear the snow falling from the branches, while watching the Salmon jump across the surface of the water. It was a very beautiful and peaceful evening all around.Time
It was taken around twilight. The interesting thing about the time, is that you had to keep your ears tuned and your eyes peeled for the bears that usually came out during those early evenings. We had seen more than a few bears in the time that we fished this little spot.Lighting
Not for this specific shot...Equipment
Just my Canon! Nothing more and nothing less...Inspiration
I try to always be prepared for that perfect shot! I believe life is an adventure full of wonders and emotions, that are meant to not only be captured but seen. So I bring my camera with me everywhere for shots to be taken of the planned and unplanned moments, that turn into great memories. This photo is one of those great memories!Editing
I just sharpened the photo slightly. The picture is a great representation of what it looked like that early evening. Which is one of the reasons I love this photo. When I look at it, I feel as if I'm back at the little fishing spot again. In my camera bag
My Canon of course. Though I do change my other equipment around depending on where I'm going.Feedback
Just take your camera with you wherever you go. Some of the best photos are unplanned! Never say that's not a great shot, until you give it a go and try it yourself. Great photography comes from within the person and the willingness to continue to learn.
