The Best Mom In The World

The woman in this photograph breast feeding this child is the bravest, strongest, and most diligent mother I know. Her entire life is devoted to her kids and husband, but she does it with such grace. Growing up, I knew her, and I never thought I would see this side of her. But after the birth of her first child, I began to see what a resilient woman she really was. She started off her second pregnancy doing things differently than the norm, and many faulted her for it. But in the end, she had the best birth story, even if we didn't make it to the birth center for this little squishy man. We went to the park a few weeks after he was born to take photographs, and she expressed her desire for photos of her breast feeding - something that is very important to her. She is now paving the way for everyday moms that she runs into, making them aware that they should not be ashamed to feed their child the way nature intended. And for that, she's inspiring, because at the end of the day, the only ones that matter are her children.
