Location
This photo was taken at the Chessington Zoo, Surrey, UK. The bird Bird of Prey, featured here is a Red-Legged Seriema Cariama found in Brazil, South America. It inhabits grasslands, but the nest is built in bushes or trees. The young are hatched covered with gray down. The seriema feeds on insects, snails, reptiles, and berries.Time
The photo was taking on slightly overcast day with some light rain.Lighting
I used natural lighting, without a flash to get the correct shading, colours and details of the bird.Equipment
I used a Nikon D70 camera, with a Nikon 28-105mm lens. No tripod or flash was to photograph it.Inspiration
I love photographing nature and the appearance of this bird caught my attention to take the photo of it.Editing
No post processing involvedIn my camera bag
In my bag is Nikon D5200, D5300, various lenses, including Tamron 150-600mm lens, flash, tripod, camera remote, batteries, ect..Feedback
Advice for other trying to capture something similar, a camera, flash, tripod, if required should give others the perfect shot of this kind....
