When the cafe in the Winter Gardens, Backpool, Lancashire, was being refurbished, it was found that the interior plasterwork had been covered up since the 1960s and was found intact during refurbihment. The curtains seen in the picture are actually plasterwork and it was originally designed by Andrew Mezzie, renowned film set director. Well worth a visit.
