Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Hauz Khas Deer Park, New Delhi. I was visiting the park for the first time and luckily have my camera with me.

Time

It was a September afternoon back in 2015. I saw many deer in the park roaming around in their herds. But this particular fawn was strolling alone. I was noting down his movements. Then he suddenly came forward and bend towards the ground as if he was greeting me. I immediately took my camera & clicked him asap. He was a beautiful deer.

Lighting

As it can be seen in the photo, there was sunlight criss-crossing the leaves of the trees above. I found it perfect to take the shot.

Equipment

It was shot on Canon EOS 600D with Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II lens.

Inspiration

I guess it was the time of the day may be. But I think I love to shoot animals so that's why I clicked this.

Editing

A bit of simple contrasting, cropping & highlighting was done to make this photo as it is seen.

In my camera bag

I have my phone Honor 8 Pro & Canon EOS 600D with 18-55 mm Kit lens usually with me. Sometimes I do click photos with my Nikon Coolpix L820 point & shoot camera.

Feedback

Aah! To be honest I would say I am just an amateur photographer. I don't know much about techniques of photography. I just find correct frame & lighting & shoot the subjects.
