It was a spur of the moment photo, which differs from a planned photoshoot. I had to take advantage of the opportunity and the moment I found myself in. I was inspired by how majestic the Cape Eagle Owl is and felt privileged to view it at close range without an enclosure.Editing

As you gaze at the owl's beautiful profile and gracefulness you will find that patience is invaluable and that the subject deserves respect. I would advise a wide aperture for a lovely blurred background and to draw focus to the subject.
