Behind The Lens
Location
This photograph was taken at Holden Arboretum, outside of Cleveland, OH.Time
This was taken in late afternoon. My husband and I had been hiking for what felt like FOREVER (we got turned around a few times). This was the final stretch before we returned back to our car.Lighting
This path was mostly shaded from all the trees, but with the majority of the leaves having fallen already, there was plenty of natural light peeking through the trees.Equipment
This was shot with my Canon PowerShot S95. No other equipment!Inspiration
I loved how the leaves seemed to lead us on a never-ending path, and with the trees on either side, it felt more like a tunnel.Editing
NoIn my camera bag
I have since upgraded my camera, so I have a 50 mm prime lens & my 18-55 mm kit lens. I always have a ND filter, lens hood, and my tripod.Feedback
I used a low f-stop & had my focal point at the end of the path. This allowed the blurred effect.
