The Philippine Islands are celebrated for their white and golden sand beaches. However, curiosity got the best of us and we decide to travel to the rare black beaches of Albay. It was quite the challenge getting there - we even thought of hitchhiking - but we finally managed to reach it and were treated with one of the unique sights of our lives.
