The Elephants of Ethosha National Park live in large family groups that move together as one unit to protect every member. The members of this herd seemed to create a wall or barrier between my Land Cruiser and their tiny babies that played in the water oblivious of the danger I could pose. The Elephants were quite content ,once their barrier was secured, to re-hydrate themselves as well.
