On a spontaneous trip to Sedona, Arizona, I stopped and hiked at Oak Creek Canyon. I was struck by this view of the creek seemingly snaking away into a tree-lined oblivion, lit up with natural light playing on the rocks and water. I shot RAW using a darker ISO setting to preserve the contrasts of light, and while editing I did my best to capture the natural light and shadows I saw in person by decreasing the blacks, increasing the contrast, and slightly tinting the highlights to a more natural hue.
