I shot this from the balcony of my hotel room in St. Ignace, Michigan -- I had gotten stuck in the Upper Peninsula after they shut down the Mackinac Bridge and I couldn't cross south to get home to Cheboygan. Beyond the picnic table and tiny trees is frozen Lake Huron.
