Location
This picture was taken on the west side of lake michigan, This light house was in the town of manitowauk ,wisconsin.iTime
I try to take most all my pictures in late afternoon or early morning. Its hard to take pictures in the bright sun.Lighting
I shoot most all my pictures in manual or priority mode. I like to be incharge of my camera. When you use auto mode your camera selects all the lighting settings. I chose all the settings when i find the subject i want to picture. The easiest way to shoot in manual is to set your iso first, then aperagure and then shutter.Equipment
I use a canon 7D, the lenses i use are 17-35, 15-85, 7o-210, my filter sizes are 72mm.. i like a lens with a bigger filter size because it lets in more light.Inspiration
I like to shoot landscape photos, lighthouse always seem to fasinate me.Editing
I only use a simple canon program, i very seldom edit any of my pictures. In my camera bag
My camera bag has 4 lenses, 17-35, 15-85,70-210,150-500, canon 7d body with battery pack, one flash unit, and a camera remote. Spare batterys and window mount.Feedback
Shoot in manual, thats the best way to get the most out of your camera.
