This photo was taken in Central Pennsylvania when I was on a walk one Autumn.Time
It was midafternoon and there was something about the way the light filtered through the trees. I’ve taken this walk many times but that particular day was different. This is one of my favorite images.Lighting

Autumn is my favorite time of year because of the colors but also the way the light hits everything. This particular time and place was the perfect combination of both elements.Editing
I did play with the brightness and shadows and highlights.In my camera bag
I carry a macro lens and a 300 zoom as well as some filters and occasionally a tripod.Feedback
I have found over the years that best time to photograph Fall foliage is mid to late afternoon. The dimming light seems to really bring out the colors of the leaves.
