3 East 63 Volunteer Fire Department's members were involved in a close call when a steel wall collapsed on them while Caryville Firefighter was trying to control the blaze with a water cannon. Due to the fast action of Lieutenant Danny Mayse he was able to keep the steel wall from falling on Chief Matt Lewis and Captain Katelin Brooke Lewis.
