This photo is a snapshot during a photoshoot in the Dutch woods nearby Hilversum. When we walked down this path and I saw the sunrays shining through the leaves of the trees I knew I had to stop and make this image. Ofcourse the colors of the fall where also beautiful to see. It was an amazing sight...Time
The time of day was around 16:00 hours... So the sun was hanging low in the sky... It was a magical moment...Lighting
The nice thing of the lighting it is all pure natural light. No flashlights or anything. Just the light as it came in to the view of the camera...Equipment
I only used my DSLR camera to make this image... At home I retouched the image a little bit with Photoshop... Overall there has been nothing added to the original image as it was taken...Inspiration
It was the moment itself that inspired me to take this photo... The colors of fall... The sunrayes... The fresh air... It was just that moment...Editing
I processed the image in RAW and after that a little bit in Photoshop... Most of the image is as original as it has been taken...In my camera bag
I don't carry that much around. Bad for my back ;) ... So I walk with my DSLR camera (Canon600D) my kittlens and my portrait lens 50mm F1.8... An external flash and flashtrigger remote... And always extra SD cards at hand for when one crashes or gets full during the photosessions... Sometimes I carry my tripod with me... But not all the time...Feedback
Only advise I can give is keep your eyes open... Cause most of the times the beautiful pictures are just right in front of your face... But you need to be willing to see it... Don't just look forward when you stroll down any path or street... Keep looking around and also up... Because there are amazing things around us, but we miss it all because whe don't look up that often...
