While walking home one evening past the Al Hirschfeld Theatre the show let out and people started pouring out all around me. It seemed like there was some sort of quintessential New York moment to be captured here. Well heeled people fresh from the theatre, minds expanded, ready for a cocktail or coffee as they dissect the worthiness of the play. Something like that. I wandered about them snapping away but didn't feel like I was really getting anything until I saw the opening in the rickshaw. It was kind of perfect for the image, like I was looking through the opening onto the stage of what was happening in the moment.
I actually like it quite a lot.
