I was in the backyard of my house taking photos of some flowers that were in a pot and right next to it I saw this little flower.Time
It was at approximately 1:00 p.m. full sun. Many say that it is the worst time to take pictures but in this case it did not affect the taking.Lighting
I placed behind the flower a black plastic that I had in my camera bag and I took the photo in a zenithal shot. As the sun was high I myself cast some shadow on the flowerEquipment
It is shot with a nikon d7100 camera with a sigma 105 macro lens.(I almost always wear that lens) and no flashInspiration
I don't know the name of the flower, it is very small, it looks like a weed. It struck me that it was not fully formed and that it looked like a Jewish star. I immediately decided that it deserved to be photographed. The two branches of the plant gave me the idea of ??open arms. I had the feeling that the flower was welcoming me. That's why I called it "Welcome".Editing
Not much, I just darkened the background a bit moreIn my camera bag
I usually carry a nikon d7100 camera with a sigma 105mm f2.8 macro lens, a sigma 18-35mm f1.8 lens, and two yongnuo speedlite YN568ex flashes. Not muchFeedback
my suggestion, is to always be curious. Keep an open mind trying to see things differently. It is surprising how many details we do not see and that are there in front of us. Let's pay attention to the details and nature will surprise us.
